This is a wonderful documentary called The Pilgrimage for Active Peace, featuring the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoche. Tai Situ Rinpoche, Thrangu Rinpoche, and several other Kagyu Lamas went to Italy and met with Benedictine monks and then went to Rome to meet the Pope more than 20 years ago. This is the story of that journey.

NEW DELHI // Indian officials dropped all criminal charges yesterday against a top Tibetan Buddhist monk seen as a potential successor to the Dalai Lama.
